On second thought, 1 Nikon D40x pls…

Last time, I posted I wanted to have a Canon EOS 400D for a dslr camera. Today, I went to Quiapo to buy one for myself. I was so excited even though my body was aching from the SIGA olympics yesterday. Grace and I met at Gateway Cubao and from there she accompanied me to Quiapo (para may bodyguard hehe). Sa Gateway pa lang, I saw that the Canon EOS 400D costs P39,950 already. When I called in at Mayers, their price was only at P34,500 (cheaper by a mile).

Finally, when Grace and I arrived at Quiapo and found the shop, I asked for the camera brand. I saw that someone was also buying that same brand and was just waiting for the camera. Then the store owner showed me this Nikon D40x and showed us its features. I really didn’t know what to  think then but I was impressed with its features. Well, the guy’s a real smooth talker too… that’s why I changed my mind and shifted to a Nikon D40x. Right now, I’m just excited to learn more about the buttons and its features. Hopefully, I made the right choice. wait for my flicker and multiply photos.

Canon EOS 400D DSLR Camera

I so want to have a new toy. A Canon EOS 400D DSLR Camera to be exact. I haven’t really been a camera geek but looking at my friends’ flicker albums, they make me want to try it out, capture the best moments of everything and be able to share it and relive it with others. At first, I just wanted to have a simple “point and shoot” camera but when I got to talk to my college friend (Mark), he was able to convince me to get a DSLR instead. And now, I can’t wait to have it on my hands and try it out. If ever I get the chance to have one, there’ll be 5 of us “yekoboys” and counting, who will have this same hobby. Well, aside from past time, this camera will definitely be used for my service in my community. So, Lord, hear my prayers. hehehe… Take a look at my future baby..

Sagip Olympics 2007

Last Sunday was the SAGIP Olympics 2007 held at the Marikina Sports Center. The weather was so warm that I got sunburned on my neck and face. Luckily, my arms weren’t that affected (or so I thought?). Anyway, I really enjoyed watching the kids play their events and support them. I wish I could have seen all my kids play but the venue was too big to catch them all playing. The best part of that day was when one of our kids, Mary Ann, got her bronze medal from an 800 meter dash in Athletics. She would have gotten a Gold if I knew they were only getting the best time from the first and second heats. Another great thing about that day was the fooling around with them. These kids wanted to play with my camera phone to take pictures of themselves or others. Well, here are some of the pics taken by these kids.
